Selling your house is a major step in your life that effects not just you, but your entire family
including your pets. Before you begin the process, you'll want to ensure that you have the most
updated information available to you. This includes information about what is going on around
you in your neighborhood. How long are those properties taking to sell? Do those houses have
any updates? Does your house have any updates? How does your house compete with what is
currently available to prospective buyers?

Emotions can become your worst enemy. You need to remember that you buy a home, but you
sell a house. Though it is usually difficult, when selling your house, you need to take away your
emotions and think about the process as a business transaction. You’re not selling your house
to make a profit and pay off your credit cards or other debt. You’re selling your house to move
into the next stage of your life while trying to get the best price and the best terms that the
market will allow. Many Sellers think that either they or their REALTOR® prices their house.
Actually, the people who set the price of your house and all the other houses on the market are
the current Buyers!!
